"Pair Of Salt Shovels, Silver, Coat Of Arms, Lorraine, 18th Century"
Very beautiful pair of silver salt shovels, net model in the shape of a fire shovel, the ornate shovel, East of France, Lorraine, 18th century. The spatulas are engraved with a coat of arms topped with a Marquis' crown. The hallmarks are illegible, but in the east of France they hallmark on the back of the stem and the shape of the hallmark is Lorraine. The shovels have a very original shape that I had never seen before. Weight 34g - length 11.6 cm Condition, very good, no wear.
