Quality clock in gilded bronze with mercury and gold, from the Restoration period circa 1830. Signed on the dial and its mechanism "C. Detouche Fournisseur de la ville de Paris" watchmaker listed in the Tardy, dictionary of French watchmakers. Romantic scene with the figure of a young girl engraving initials on a tree trunk. White enamel dial decorated with a pearl outline. The facade is richly chiseled with scrolls, acanthus leaves and flowers.

Original mechanism without modification, hour and half-hour strike on old bell.
