"Monetary Balance, Germany, 1782"
Monetary scale, Germany, 1782 Complete monetary scale with its 16 weights, its balance and four small brass sheet weights, preserved in a 17th century case with lid. The set is signed "Joh. Pet. Braselmann auf Wichlinghausen in Oberbarmen [today, this city is one of the districts of present-day Wuppertal in North Rhine-Westphalia]", dated the year "1782" and bears the maker's stamp. A very beautiful set, perfectly preserved, in its original box. Dimensions: L 17.2 x D 8.9 x H 2.3 cm.
