- Pocket or pocket watch in 18-carat solid gold, chiseled and guilloché, with chiming of the hours and quarters on request. - Bull's head hallmark present on the bail specific to 750/1000 gold watchmaking used by the office of guarantees of precious metals of Paris in use from April 1, 1822 to May 9, 1838 and the letter P which is the different of the Paris office. - Two other hallmarks are present on the bail and another on the head of the pendant, they are partially erased. - Chastened and guilloché bowl with barley grains and central circle blank of initial on the outside of the bowl, edge of the watch and perimeter of the bezel grooved. - Radiant silver dial, Roman numerals painted in black for the hours and graduation with index for the minutes painted in black, serpentine hands in blackened metal and domed mineral glass. - On-demand chime for the hours and quarters by pressing on the top of the pendant head. - Gilded brass dust cover with a coiled snake engraved in hollow for the direction of winding of the watch, opening of the dust cover by pressing the small button located at two o'clock. - Gilded brass movement with a finely chiseled and guilloché openwork cock with a verge escapement, silver advance and delay disc and polished steel needle for the advance and delay adjustment. - Manual time setting with the key on the central square in the center of the dial on which the hour and minute hands are mounted, old key in 18 carat gold. - The old key has a small hole in the middle of the key and a slot on the gold leaf plated on the barrel of the key, see photo. - Key winding on the left on the back of the watch on the dust cover, the black arrow on the gilded brass dust cover is made with a velda felt-tip pen that can be wiped off with a dry cloth, this allows you not to make a mistake in the direction when winding the watch on the left. - In perfect working order, revised by a watchmaker. - Restoration period, 19th century, circa 1815-1830. - Gross weight of the watch: 115.10 gr. - Weight of the gold key: 1.65 gr.
