6 fine earthenware dessert plates from the famous Gien earthenware factory located in the Loiret department in the Loire Valley and still in business today. These plates, with their original and unusual shape, borrow their theme from the romantic repertoire. They are richly decorated with large floral garlands divided into 5 large reserves separated by a raised garland on golden grooves. In the center of the basin, 2 doves with outstretched wings in the middle of the same environment face each other. All in a harmonious geometry typical of the 20s / 30s and a beautiful blend of color between the green decor and the ivory background of the plate.
