Sauvage Charles Gabriel known as Lemire-Sauvage, French sculptor (born April 24, 1741 in Lunéville (Meurthe et Moselle), died in 1827 in Paris, son of a founder, Lemire worked very young in 1759, in the modeling workshops of the Niderviller factory. He was its director for about twenty years. He exhibited in Paris from 1808 to 1819 and won a medal in 1808.
