Art Deco tulip or lyre-shaped secretary in light wood burl. Opens with two drawers in the upper part, a flap in the middle part and three drawers in the lower part. The flap reveals a leather writing surface as well as an architectural light theater composed of drawers framing a false semblance of a Roman door opening onto a storage area. 2 secret caches are hidden in the door columns. The curve of the lower part rests on a "pedestal" in an inverted ogee. The terrace rests on 4 small "ear" feet highlighted with blackened wood. Handles in muzzle heads.
