Jacques Henri Guyot, born in 1946, was an artist mainly inspired by the 1960s. This powerful period, marked by many ruptures and questions about the order of things, strongly influenced his work. He was interested in the Minimalism movement, embodied by artists such as Frank Stella, Donald Judd and Agnes Martin. He was also attracted to Finally, he allowed himself to be influenced by the ideologies of Existentialism, often illustrated by the human form and the malaise linked to the human condition.
