"Enameled Copper Panel Portrait Of Jane Fonda By Atelier Fauré In Limoges, 1970s"
Very decorative enamelled copper panel signed Fauré in Limoges, published in eight copies (marked as number five) and presented in its original brushed aluminium and cardinal purple velvet frame. The workshop takes its name from its founder, the famous enamel artist Camille Fauré (1874-1956). This work dates from the 1970s and is in the purest tradition of high-quality Limoges enamels. As for the scene worthy of a science fiction film and similar to a cinematographic special effect, it lets us see the spectral face of the actress Jane Fonda overlooking a sea lit by a setting sun. Note: The presence of some old stains on the velvet of the frame. Dimensions of the copper panel: 29cm x 39.5cm External dimensions of the frame: 52.5cm x 39.5cm
