"Monumental Clock Dial Bell Tower Period 19th Century"
Monumental clock face in enameled lava stone from the Niot company, located at 10 rue Mandar in Paris, before this company was sold to Blin in 1844. Dial hands in the shape of a five-pointed star. Clockmaker-mechanic of the Hospices Civils et Militaires de l'École Polytechnique, of the City of Paris, of the Senate, of the Legislative Body, of the Ministries, of the Council of State, of the Navy and of the Foreign Missions. A dial from the same clockmaker is present on the main facade of the Sainte-Ursule chapel of the Sorbonne. The dial is in its original condition. The circular cast iron frame is "rusty". The enamel has not been cleaned.
