Large cartel-shaped clock, very decorative model, in the Louis XV style of the Napoleon III period around 1860. Very fine quality set, gilt bronze architecture with a shape animated by its graceful curves and counter-curves decorated with acanthus leaves. Adorned at the top with a cherub seated on a throne holding a dove.

The facade decorated with openwork scrolls revealing the movement of the pendulum, above which appears the domed dial in white enamel accompanied by finely worked gilded hands, all protected by a bezel set with domed glass.

Original mechanism without modification, striking from the hours and half-hour on an old bell.
