IN GOOD CONDITION "TWO LACKS OF FLAMES" FROM THE KING'S MILITARY HOUSE 1814 - 1816 FRONT PLATE IN THE SHAPE OF A MUSKETEER'S CROSS 15 CM IN DIAMETER. IT IS MADE UP OF TWO PARTS: ONE IN MERCURY-GILT BRASS WHICH REPRESENTS THE EXTERIOR MOULDING OF THE CROSS FINISHED WITH FLEURS-DE-LYS, THE OTHER IN SILVER-PLATED COPPER REPRESENTS THE BACKGROUND OF THE SANDBLASTED CROSS WHOSE FOUR CORNERS ARE FITTED WITH FIVE FLAMES DISTINGUISHING THE SECOND COMPANY OF MUSKETEERS
