Upholstery in good condition, the seats are covered with a tapestry with original small dots with different patterns: musical attributes, gardener's attributes, and floral decoration.

Joseph Roll (1810-1879), was deputy mayor of the 12th arrondissement of Paris and president of the cabinetmakers of the mutual aid society of cabinetmakers of Paris. He enjoyed great success with his eponymous company which contributed to the reputation of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine. Maison Roll was one of the official suppliers of Napoleon III.
Please note : small defects of use on the seats visible in the photos. A loop of the wooden knot is missing on the top of the back of the chair with musical attributes.
