Moly Sabata, is the oldest artist residence in France. It was created in 1927 by Albert Gleizes and Juliette Roche.
The young artist couple Claude Famechon and Michel Carlin, moved to Moly Sabata in 1968 at the request of Juliette Roche-Gleizes. They undertook the restoration of a dilapidated house and devoted themselves to painting and pottery. They remained there for 6 years.
Their ceramic pieces were made in Anne DANGAR's pottery workshop.
