Provenance and history: Auction of December 18, 2012, for the benefit of the Restos du Cœur. SNCF Transilien organized an exceptional sale in front of Gare Saint Lazare train station, entitled: 
"The auction of a legendary train: the Z6110 called the "Little Grey".

"Z6100. A legendary serial number for railway workers: it is that of the "Petits Gris", these famous stainless steel trains with an unforgettable design. This year 2012, they are leaving the rails for good and, to honor them and close the year of its 75th anniversary, the SNCF is offering a major auction on December 18, 2012, for the benefit of the Restos du Cœur. Bringing together no less than 150 "vintage" pieces, this sale should delight collectors, amateurs and enthusiasts and all those nostalgic for these trains put into service in 1965 in Île-de-France."
