"Mary Magdalene - Enamel On Copper - 18th Century "
A piece from the collection of Jean Claude Brialy, dispersed in 2013. Large enamel plate on copper, rectangular and domed, representing Mary Magdalene with her traditional attributes. An 18th century work attributed to the Noualhier family in Limoges. Our plate in excellent condition is surrounded by a gilded paperolles montage on a red velvet background, the whole in a partially gilded wooden frame and also in good condition. Dimensions of the complete painting of 31 cm by 26.
