Desk of Pierre Paulin, number CM 141 of the Thonet nomenclature (1954)
Old edition.
The base consists of four legs connected by flat black lacquered metal spacers.
The top is made up of black Formica on a wooden structure, offset on the left and a wooden box, veneered with oak, on the right.
This box has two drawers, one small and one large, fitted with black lacquered metal handles.
The lines of this desk are minimalist and clean, typical of French design from the 50s.
A great classic of style, we recognize the work of a great designer.
The tray has a few minor scratches and a small impact (diameter 1cm) repaired. The box is in good condition, has been refinished.
