THE GALLERYA OFFERS unpublished painting by TRIORA depicting the annunciation first canvas on original lacquered frame H 85CM X L 67CM without frame Lorenzo Gastaldi (1625-1690). Born in Triora, Lorenzo Gastaldi was one of the most important painters of the 17th century in western Liguria and unfortunately many of his works were destroyed during the Nazi retaliation of 5 July 1944 in Valle Argentina. Lorenzo was also very active in the Piedmontese valleys, in Monaco and Nice where he was called "Il Triora". The monumental work the "Cenacle" was created in the last period of his life, comes from the refectory of the convent of Sant'Agostino and is similar to the canvas painted by Gastaldi in Entracque (Cuneo).
