Biography:
Joachim Hierschel-Minerbi (1834-1905), was born in 1834 in Trieste then part of the Austrian Empire. He travelled through Europe painting landscapes and, in the Netherlands, he chooses the pseudonyms of : Georges de Hierschel de Minerbi, Gioacchino Hierschel, Joachim Hierschel, Gioachino Hierschell, Joachim Hierschl, Joachim Van Hier, with whom signed his paintings.
