Work of the Loetz factory.
Note: In the heart of Europe, in Bohemia, the Loetz factory developed a glassware production at the end of the 19th century that was very successful. Characterized by iridescent surface decorations and sinuous shapes inspired by nature, the glassware's vases and cups are part of the Austrian Art Nouveau style (Jugendstill), which predominated in the decorative arts of the time. The collaboration with Viennese merchant-publishers and artists earned it several awards at the Universal Exhibitions, notably in Paris in 1900.
