"BRUN-LATRIGE" pistol with 10 shots in 6 mm caliber, patented in 1868 by the inventor and arquebusier BRUN-LATRIGE, in production in 1890 by the Manufacture d'Armes et Cycles de ST-Etienne which devotes 5 pages to it in its catalog. Very flat, compact pistol with no roughness. Rifled barrel which is connected to the trigger, magazine in the handle can hold up to 10 cartridges. It contains the lifting board and its spring. The cartridges are loaded from above. The trigger guard acts as a trigger and is integral with the barrel. The latter moves back into a sleeve to chamber a cartridge which is then struck. The long piece located on the right of the frame functions as an ejector when the barrel returns forward. This weapon has no sighting device. The ebonite butt plates bear the monogram of the firm "BL" interlaced.
