""chaise Longue" By Jean Prouvé "
Steel tube "chaise longue", created in 1934 for the "Martel de Janville" sanatorium on the Assy plateau in Savoie. Issued from a collaboration between designers Jean Prouvé and Jules Leleu, like all the furniture created for this architectural ensemble. This seat was previously repainted in a red color consistent with the original. The metal bed base, relaxed, was taken up in width, without this being visible. The cushions were recently covered with a beige cotton semi-terry fabric. The set is guaranteed authentic and in good condition.
