A rare inverted pagoda shape for this superb Art Deco chandelier by Maurice Model Cristalleries de Verdun circa 1930. It is made of satin matt / polished molded-pressed glass and a three-chain mount, gilded brass bail cover. Lovely decoration with 7 swallows in flight in deep relief (see its weight!). It is equipped with 3 light points in the extension of the chains. The sockets are bayonet. The electricity works perfectly. Signature on the outer edge "M. Model Verdun" in a very fine cameo. Dimensions: Total height: approximately 75 cm (can be shortened by removing links) Basin diameter: 42.5 cm Weight: 5.7 kg Very good condition. Normal traces of use on the chains. Rare in this diameter of more than 40 cm, of an uncommon shape and relief. With a beautiful presence and all beauty, it is ready to be installed ...
