ART BRUT: VALLAURIS.

Imposing mask of Bacchus in polychrome enamelled ceramic in wine lees color.
It can be mounted as a wall lamp, two original holes are provided for this purpose, one to fix the socket and one to pass the electric wire.
It bears the hollow stamp of the Murier workshop in Vallauris (1955-1982) of Gustave and Micheline Reynaud, (many ceramic artists will pass through the Murier workshop).
On the back, there are several inscriptions and a signature to identify, this sculpture is numbered 30 or 39 /200 (see photos).

Period: around 1955 1970.

It is in good condition, no shock, no cracks.
