L'amour triomphant de la guerre,Clock, in bronze with double patina in the style, Louis XVI, Napoleon III period. It consists of two elements, a marble base on 4 spinning top feet, decorated with friezes and rosettes. A cupid leans on the dial and presents a medallion decorated with a profile representing an angel holding his quiver. On the other side of the dial, a helmet rests on a shield. The white enameled dial bears the signature of the watchmaker Berthold Paris. Roman and Arabic numerals give the hour and minutes. This clock chimes the hours and half hours. The hands are gilded and chiseled in the rocaille style. The pendulum is beautifully gilded and the winged angel has a black patina, which makes this clock special for observing details.
