Beautiful Cassette Key, French Renaissance, Henri IV Period

Pretty cassette key, very neat, circa 1600,
Typically Renaissance style, ring forged flat then cut with saw in shape of 2 opposing Gs, connected on top by a drop, closed by a thin button.
Square capital with two degrees, one of which is engraved, turned base, with hatched ring, full stem bitted  with open orifices, widened muzzle of 4 teeth.
7.8cm x 2.5cm. I draw your attention to the rarity of these precious little keys, many have disappeared…
Condition is good, beautiful patina.
