Very important pair of seven-light candelabra in finely chiseled bronze, with double brown and gilded patina; the light arms with flexible reed windings support the leafy bobeches; they frame putti cuddling a lamb for one and a bird for the other. They rest on bases with rich decoration of gadroons, acanthus leaves, garlands of flowers with suns and scrolls. signed on the base on the back H. Picard Henri PICARD Very famous 19th century bronze worker who among other things decorated the Louvre monument under Napoleon III exceptional original brown and gilded patina for this pair of majestic candelabra which are in perfect condition.
