Through his marriage to Opéra-Comique singer and painter Marthe Lebasque, he was Henri Lebasque's son-in-law.
Here is a very fine oil on panel depicting a lively beach scene on a summer's day on a Normandy coast, probably painted around 1924-1925, if we refer to the subjects painted, dated and located below.

Biography
Carlos-Reymond was born in Paris. At the age of sixteen, he received advice and encouragement from Claude Monet,
"the picturesque Parisian streets provided him with subjects for lively compositions".
Carlos-Reymond nevertheless settled in Saint-Tropez at an early age, where his parents had a "charming home" built for them in 1903.
According to his friend André Dunoyer de Segonzac, who met him there for the first time in the summer of 1908, "It was in our port of Saint-Tropez that he learned to love the sea, the beauty of ports and ships.
