Beautiful Tibetan chest in lacquered wood with a top opening two-thirds and two small drawers in the lower part of the front, iron pull handles and closure. The decoration is painted with a court scene in a cartouche, floral motifs and scrolls. Beautiful style of "flaming" of the wood on the sides as well as on the lid. Resting on a blackened wooden base. Dimensions with foot: Height: 58 cm; Length: 84.5 cm; Width: 44 cm. Origin: Tibet. Period: 19th. Conditions: Very good general condition.
