Pair Of Large Louis XIII - Louis XIV Style Armchairs With Flat Backs, Baluster Legs, 19th Century

Beautiful pair of large Louis XIII - Louis XIV style armchairs in solid walnut from the second period of the 19th century. Each armchair rests on two front baluster legs and two straight rear legs with a square section. They are connected to each other by an H-shaped crotch turned into a baluster as well as the high crosspiece located on the front. Each backrest is flat and high, they are slightly inclined outwards thus providing better comfort. The armrests are finished with grotesque heads, all slightly different from each other. The seat is in good house condition and is still very comfortable. The covering fabric is also in good condition, it is however very slightly sunned. It is embellished by a beautiful studded finish in old gold color. Dimensions:
