An elegant and rare octagonal pedestal table in black marble and marble inlay. The black marble baluster foot rests on a three-legged base, supporting an octagonal top decorated with marquetry of marbles and hard stones: Gris de Sainte Anne, Brèche de Montmeyan, Duquesa Rosa, Coquillier de Bilbao, Rouge de Vérone, Griotte rouge, Brèche de Vimine, Trets, Noir amande, Sienne ... in a frame of malachite filet.

Beautiful Italian work, certainly Florence mid-nineteenth century.
