French gilt bronze clock, depicting Venus wearing a diadem facing the mirror held up by Cupid.
The two figures seated on clouds, framing the movement.
Very rich interior decoration, pedestal table and footrest,
Antique guilloche friezes of griffins, and round of cupids.
Ovoid base and counter-plinth supported by 6 claw feet.
Magnificent original mercury gilding, slight wear on the back.
Large white enamel dial, signed by the watchmaker ''Guyon, Pte du Temple in Lyon''.
Complete movement with anchor escapement, silk thread suspension, In perfect working order, serviced by a specialist watchmaker.
Chimes at the hour and half-hour.
