"Art Nouveau Style Mirror Made In The 1940s"
Beautiful Art Nouveau style mirror made in the 1940s. The peculiarity of the shape is striking, which curls like the branches of a tree intertwining around a large drop of glass. The wood is lacquered to imitate tuya heather while the engraved crystal mirrors are decorated with a pair of birds and floral motifs. In the 40s, the sinuous and enveloping shapes reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style were still appreciated; Since the war years, rationalism was widespread but in the wealthiest homes it was possible to find furniture of great refinement and charm like this mirror.
Very good state of conservation.
