"Box, Embossed, Newar, Nepal"
Very beautiful box in repoussé from the Newar ethnic group, renowned for the quality of its work in this field. Around the vase are represented animals from the fantastic bestiary such as the dragon, the garuda ... and on the lid signs of good omen such as the endless knot. The interior is tinned, beautiful patina of red copper, late 19th early 20th century, collected on site in the 70s, Nepal.
