"Imperial Japanese Navy Medal Ww2"
I have little information about this Japanese decoration or medal. The period is obviously the Showa period, more precisely between 1926 and the end of the 2nd World War. The presence of an anchor makes me assume an attribution to the Imperial Navy.The back of the medal has many inscriptions.
It is in its original wooden box which has a gold inscription on the outside and a purple stamp on the inside of the lid.
If a sagacious reader can identify the object with certainty, I would be grateful.
