Hand Carved Christ 18th Century Gilded Wooden Frame Decorated With Flowers

This Christ is from the 18th century, it is sumptuous in its production and technique. You will note that the arms are carved in two other elements. The bone work is finely executed, the frame is also from the 18th century. The velvet inside is later, it was probably changed in the 1950s-1960s. The frame has florets, shells and very beautiful leaf gilding. We note that Christ moves and that he has broken fingers, discoloration and stains on the velvet.
