One of the 14 groups from the paintings of Jean Simon Chardin (1699-1779) in Paris porcelain (manufacturer rue de la Pierre Levée). The painting La Réprimande, from 1738 is part of the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts in Ottawa (Canada), it describes a boy sheepish in front of his governess reproaching him for having played (badminton racket and shuttlecock) instead of getting ready for school.
