"Empire Apollon Clock - Allegory Of Music"
EMPIRE APOLLO CLOCK - ALLEGORY OF MUSIC Empire CLOCK - 19th century in finely chiseled gilded bronze with decoration of an allegory of music, namely Apollo seated playing the kithara, to the right of which we find a lute, White enameled dial with Roman numerals, the circumference of this dial is surrounded by a decoration of fantastic animals, garlands of flowers and a winged angel's head. The base of this clock is rectangular where we can see Apollo seated on a rock surrounded by lions, palm trees, snakes Feet in the shape of acanthia.
