Art Deco Tea-coffee Service Of Limoges Porcelain Maison Pallas

This service is a superb production of the Pallas factory in its time renowned for the whiteness of its porcelain and the quality of its gilding.
Pallas, a firm created in 1927 and active under this name until 1948 was then bought or absorbed by the Michelaud Brothers who already owned a decoration workshop in Limoges and a factory in Saint-Brice sur Vienne. From transmissions to transfers during the 20th century, the Michelaud firm is now known under the name of Porcelaines de la Fabrique located in Saint-Brice whose majority shareholder is none other than Ercuis...
We are in the presence of a set from the Art Deco period identifiable at first glance.
The purity and sobriety of the lines are its undeniable mark.
Surprisingly, the alliance of curves and straight lines is perfect and contributes to the elegance of the different pieces. It is worth noting the extreme quality of the double gilding inlay on all the pieces and the refinement of the gold fillet around the cups.
