Object description :

"Identical Planer Model Created In Weinig's Workshops Around 1987."
This model is an exceptional miniature reproduction of a Weinig 4-sided planing machine. A plaque tells us that the model was made in the Weinig workshops in the 80s by technicians to commemorate the commercial success of the machine. This model seems to have been made in 1 single copy and would therefore be a unique model. The construction of the model is admirable because it reproduces in the smallest details all the elements of the machine. All the systems are functional, the engines as well as all the adjustment elements, risers and rulers, only the soft iron cutting edges and the low power of the engines would prevent practical use of the model. Good condition, some oxidation spots, missing some drive belts. Dimensions: 40x26x32cm Weight: 15kg Exceptional object.

Translation of the plaque. The machine began to operate and we started to use the machines to operate and to handle them with a slightly different engine. The world-wide success of the Weinig company began with this machine as a souvenir and thank you for a successful business decision. Weinig employees did it in the training workshop in 1987
