Covered compotier, or drageoir, with a slightly curved cylindrical body resting on a short baluster foot, made of light translucent crystal, blown and shaped with a tool, with very fine hand-chased decoration of protruding honeycomb motifs in lanceolate friezes, adorning the compotier bowl and decorating its lid.
The lid itself is topped by a round, heat-applied knob with chased motifs.
The leg is adorned with flat ribs and rests on a flat, blank circular base.

model known as “Richelieu” (also known, more marginally, as “Champigny”), and known under the reference “taille 5777”.
 
Given the early period, this drageoir does not bear the Baccarat signature: it is therefore unsigned (the object dates from before 1936, and is in blown crystal: it is therefore quite normal that there should be no signature).

We've attached a copy of the Baccarat catalog to the photos in the ad (see photo #2).  In photo no. 3, still from the Baccarat catalog for 1908, a rather similar model.  The candle jar illustrated on the catalog page (photo no. 2) is identical to the one shown here.  There is no doubt, therefore, as to its origin: it is indeed an object from the Baccarat crystal works.
 
This is a fine, old piece of crystal, of the highest quality in terms of finesse, brilliance and chasing.
It could be a small compotier, a drageoir, a bonbonnière... Many uses are possible. The object also remains highly decorative.

STATE OF PRESERVATION,
CONDITION REPORT :
the object is in excellent condition: the crystal is luminous, limpid, without any opacification or calcareous haze (it is perfectly brilliant); and, there are no chips, no accidents or shocks, no cracks.
I can see the presence of tiny, inconspicuous scratches on the reverse side of the base, which are fine, few and far between (all the more so as they are underneath the object). No real problem, then.

Some very slight scratches, scattered and few in number, may be found here and there on the body of the sucker: additional photos (see from photo no. 5 onwards) attempt to illustrate these, but they are hardly noticeable, and therefore have no real impact on the interest of the sucker.
They are, above all, slight marks of use, quite usual on second-hand objects, not noticeable and therefore not altering the object.

The crystal attractor is therefore in perfect condition, with no chips or damage, and a very fine, high-quality, brilliant, clear and luminous crystal.
A beautiful, rare, antique, luxurious object.
