"A Bacchantes Vase By R.lalique"
The Bacchantes vase was created in 1926 in white glass by R. Lalique. It was quickly considered a masterpiece. Given its success, R. Lalique decided to produce it in opalescent, grey and yellow glass. The example presented here is in old glass with a sienna patina. It belongs to the first editions of the vase and is in excellent condition. It is signed R. Lalique in sandblasted capital letters.
