Beautiful pair of officer's flintlock pistols. Barrel with sides, with hair-like stripes, slightly blunderbussed at the mouth, engraved on the top (BOUTET DIRECTOR ARTIST, MANUFACTURE IN VERSAILLES) punched with the three "Boutet" bars on the thunder and the NB punch. Plates signed "Manufre à Versailles", engraved and flat-bodied hammers. Round iron bassinets. Cut-out iron fittings, polished white. Sided rod-holder rings. Oval pommels. All screws engraved. Fine long-barreled mounts with finely checkered stocks, with flat backs. Fanon ramrods with horn tips and iron cleaning tips. Length: 35cm. Caliber: 14 mm. 1st Empire period. Very good condition
