"Odiot Silver Tray"
Oval silver-plated metal tray with radiant decoration around an interlaced "CG" number, frieze net and crosspieces on the edge, highlighted with vermeil color on the number, the surrounding patterns and the crosspieces. On the reverse, the goldsmith's mark "Odiot in Paris" and the emblem with the oil lamp. Odiot has been a goldsmith since 1690, he supplied the royal and imperial courts. Our tray was created under Napoleon III. Two skates are missing on the reverse, which does not unbalance the tray, micro-scratches and patina due to use.
