Beautiful Louis XIV Domed Walnut Commode, 18th Century

Beautiful Louis XIV walnut chest of drawers from the 18th century.
A small-sized curved chest of drawers.
This chest of drawers is superb with a very beautiful patina of blond walnut with wax.
It opens with four drawers on the front, two drawers at the top and large drawers below.
The drawers are carved with gendarme hat moldings, reminiscent of the moldings of Parisian chests of drawers from the Ile de France.
The drawers slide perfectly and the slides have been restored.
The drawer interiors are original and mounted with dovetails.
The gilded bronzes are original, handles and lock entries finely chiseled and gilded.
The corbin beak top is mounted with miter cuts and has a large walnut board.
The walnut uprights are straight and molded ending with Louis XIV straight feet.
The low crosspiece on the front and those on the sides are slightly scalloped.
The sides are molded with large panels in gendarme hats.
The backs are in oak and are original.
This chest of drawers is fully pegged.

A preventive xylophene treatment was carried out in the workshop but there is no one in it!
