"Large Sculpture " Frileuse " By Kinsburger"
Large bronze sculpture symbolizing winter by the French artist Sylvain Kinsburger (Paris 1855 - 1935). Sculptor, medal engraver, and designer, he was a student of Dumont and Thomas. A member of the Society of French Artists, he began his career at the Salon in 1878 and won a bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1889, and a gold medal with this bronze "Frileuse" at the Salon in 1900. Golden patina, red marble base.
