Rozier Jules Charles (XIX-XX), trained in Bertin's atelier and later in that of Delaroche before
then pursued his career alone in Medan and later in Normandy where he loved to paint landscapes and seascapes.
He exhibited his paintings from 1839 to 1882 at the ‘Salon de Paris’. A painter as delicate and intimate as his painting.
Many paintings by this artist can be found in various museums in France: Aix, Nantes, La Rochelle and many others.
