Rosa Iliou is a Greek artist born in 1926, recognized for her works mixing sculptures and decorative objects. Her work is characterized by the use of varied materials and a multidisciplinary approach, creating pieces that are both ornamental and functional. In 2016, she participated in the exhibition "If you could only come back, even just for one night" alongside Tyra Tingleff, presented at the ChertLüdde gallery in Berlin. Most recently, in 2023, his works were presented at the exhibition "ΦΙΛΟΤΕΧΝΗΜΑ / DUMMY" in Akwa Ibom, Athens, alongside artists Jos de Gruyter, Harald Thys and Ilias Lefas. Critics describe his work as "ornaments" or "philotechnemata", reflecting an affection for art through idiosyncratic forms and diverse materials. His works, as well as collected objects, are preserved in his residence in Palaio Faliro, testifying to his artistic engagement and influence in the field of contemporary Greek art.
