"Roman Intaglio Mounted Silver"
Superb yellow glass intaglio in Roman style, souvenir of the 19th century Grand Tour or perhaps older, representing Cupid on a chariot harnessed to two wild boars. It is mounted in silver to form a rotating pendant (hallmarks to be identified). The engraved motif is very fine. Total dimensions 2.9 X 2.5 cm, and 2 X 1.5 cm for the intaglio alone.
