19th Century Smoking Kit

Amusing cigar and cigarette smoker's kit in rosewood and mahogany featuring a cannon on its mount and a powder compartment. Match holder and pyrogen scraper. The cannon is oriented. There are two drawers, one deeper than the other. The cigar cutter is integrated into the powder compartment. Good condition, part of the draw button on the first drawer is missing, otherwise everything is complete. Label of the Algier merchant stationer "A François 1er" 219 rue St Honoré, patented supplier to his majesty the emperor". This seller of precious trinkets is well referenced. The rectangular base is approximately 22cm by 17cm. Height of the upright cannon approximately 18cm. A quality and original object. The rosewood wood is superb, well-veined and not too dark.
